14-16 year olds
To provide an
environment where teens can learn leadership skills,
develop a positive self-image and become
involved members of the community so
that they may be better prepared to lead
fulfilling and productive adult lives.
7th-12th grade
Meets the 1st Wednesday of each month. The City appointed Youth Action Committee
works in conjunction with the City of La Palma and outside groups for the benefit
of the community and its youth. The Youth Action Committee gives junior high
and high school students an opportunity to speak out for their peers and assist
with planning teen events.
